ということは、
He makes me go.
(he wants me to go but I don’t want to go.)
or
(I want to go but he doesn’t think so.)
He lets me go.
(I want to go and he allows me.)
こんな感じでしょうか？

Thank you Miyo! Yes, I understand. It’s so simple now that I think about your examples. So, for a simple statement, we cannot tell the exact meaning/feeling of the listener e.g.「先生、私の勉強をさせてください」without altering the sentence a little.
Yes, my original meaning was that ‘talking is over, I want to study (make me study!)’

先生とおしゃべりしている時に
「先生、私の勉強をさせて下さい」と言うのは
もうおしゃべりをやめて自分の勉強を始めたい、という意味ですか？
それで「make」の意味・・・？？？

：彼は私を無理に（or強引に）行かせた。
He lets me go.
：彼は私を行かせてくれた。
「私は先生にパンを食べさせられた。」
（私→食べたくなかった）
「私は先生にパンを食べさせてもらった」
「先生は私にパンを食べさせてくれた」
（私→パンを食べたかったor食べることができて嬉しい）
しかし、
「先生は私にパンを食べさせた」
この場合は単純に事実のみが書かれていて
「私」がそれを喜んでいたのか嫌がっていたのかは
この文だけでは判断できないと思います。
嫌がっていたことを明確にしたいなら
「無理に（or強引に）食べさせた」など、言葉を加える必要があると思います。
これで答えになっているのか分かりませんが・・。
余計混乱させたらすみません。

I agree with what you are saying, but the problem is that the listener cannot always tell if the speaker wants to or does not want to do the action being talked about…

I don’t understand the difference between ‘make’ and ‘let’ very much.
I think most of Japanese too.
makeは無理にさせる時に使い、letはそうではない時に使うと本で読んだことがあります。
He makes me go.(I don’t want to go.)
He lets me go.(I want to go.)
僕の理解は正しいですか？
