下の表現が本に出てきたけど、英語ではなんと言えばいいですか？

人事とは思えない

友達と話したら、私は「気持ちが分かる」とか予想してたが、いまいち、分かんないよね 。

「人事とは思えない」は
as if it were [was] one's own で、出ていました。

「あのカップルが離婚したよ」
「人事じゃないね」

１）今は離婚問題は出ていないけど、いつ　自分たちも離婚するかわからない、
２）誰も離婚と　無関係とは言えない、
誰が離婚しても　おかしくない時代である。
と言う二つの意味があります。

１)と２）の意味は大分違いますね。まだよく分からないけどまだ考え中です。

Hi Darren,

It means something close to the English "that could easily be me", as in:

"I shouldn't laugh, that could easily be me."
