How would you translate this? A direct translation doesn’t seem to make sense: ‘don’t look’.
Is this something like, ‘What the &$#” are you looking at?’ That’s my best interpretation so far – especially considering tone of voice.
I dunno, but thats how i’d interpret it. 😛
Actually, those kind of expression are alway in manga or used by highschool boys.
The translation would be..
みているじゃないよ
Which basically means that I am not looking!

Yeah, I know what it means just from context but I wondered if anyone had actually been taught exactly what it means, or how a bilingual person would translate it.
